Thankfully….NO! Shot Show isn’t fun for a sponsored shooter who isn’t trying to swoon companies. I will be at NRA show tho!

Phoenix Trinity’s dealer sales rep is a friend of mine, so we spent some time pulling live firing pins and swapping in deactivated firing pins for Shot Show, then when he got back to KC we swapped them back and got to play with them a little. Weather let us off the range before we had to get them ready for dealers to see unfortunately, so no extra trigger time this round.

I should have 1-2 of them incoming for me to shoot, possibly as early as April if lucky enough to have on hand for NRA show.

Other than being overworked, I had a great time at SHOT. It wasn't until after I flew home Saturday morning and took a nap that I felt like crapola. I think I actually was exposed to the Rona on the way out to Vegas and it incubated until I got home. All better now though, although I have a slight tickle in my throat I can't get rid of.

So this morning, I was sitting my home office and looking at the pile of goodies I've got sitting out waiting to go on my Prodigy when I finally get it in. I decided to check out my Holosun, that I ordered from Amazon mid-December...

...and the box was EMPTY! I was soooooo sick to my stomach over that. It was $316.69 and all I got was a box with instructions and empty foam cut-outs. I called the company who was the vendor I purchased it from through Amazon, and got an AWESOME dude in Texas (at 7am Texas time) who expressed anger at what is becoming a common negative practice with Amazon. People order stuff, take it out of the box, and then return the open box to Amazon. Amazon then sticks the box back on the shelf and it goes out in the next order fulfillment.

The lesson: open your orders and check them before it's too late!

Hmm what about some laser? Burn a hole in it? I know we have some engineers on here, what's a good way for an average Joe like me to acquire a super high-powered laser? Bonus points if the laser beam is blue to match my truck's paint. I will mount it in my Ranger's bed and drive around the country shooting down all the China balloons.
