Finally got around to "painting" the wifes pistol lower with the color scheme she wanted.

She had left a pic of a AR9 pistol open on the computer....so I guess I am building one next! Going with a polymer lower for weight reduction.

I finally ordered the AR9 parts for the wife. All total is $550 (excluding sights/red dot). I have a Romeo5 to put on it and the backup sights are cheap enough. Now just to purchase a couple 33rd glock mags. I got this upper with the charge handle/BCG and this complete lower with the padded tube.

Hopefully will get it soon.

They’ve raided a second business now and trying to fold pistol braces in with NFA, which could lead to the largest registration of firearms with the federal government. The ATF is overstepping big time.
Good luck getting all the 80% ones that are already out there. Also the brace backtracking is BS! There are tens of thousands out there now so now we're all felons (or have to NFA them) because they decided to change the rules in the middle of the game?

To bad all mine we lost in a boating accident. :lipssealed::bandit:

I've heard numbers on braces, that were approved over a decade ago, to be in possible 6 digit numbers. Many are saying that if your state does not allow SBR's, and failure to register that pistol as an SBR already constitutes a felony, you might as well get the drill press warmed up. Also, based on the wording, a 10" 5.56 may not be allowed to be anything BUT an SBR....regardless if you remove the pistol brace. That would mean that barrel/upper is a felony in any state that does not allow SBR's, regardless if you remove and destroy the pistol brace.

I expect compliance to be close to 0.0000000000000000001%, but unfortunately, the majority of that non-compliance will be quiet.

No Mike I hadn't seen it but I've really been staying away form a lot of news lately, it's to damn depressing. I'm just sick and tired of these agencies and Govt officials making up/changing the rules as the want to. It's either for more money or a feel good law because some scumbag (non legal gun owner) shoots someone and they feel the need to restrict us legal owners.

a note from ammo makers......

Good video, I saw this one my YouTube home page last night. Good to see they're trying hard to meet the demand. But at these prices, 0.65/round for 9mm I'll pass. Hopefully people stop panic buying and prices return to normal like after the '08 shortages. This is 10 x's worse though.
