This is an older photo but it is a few of my Rugers. Top is a Single Six 22, bottom is a GP100 357 Mag, with 45 Colt Blackhawk bookends.
Good to know, I’m not the only Revolver guy... ?

Looks good Doug! The BC pin can be a PITA sometimes,I usually put a drop of oil on it and along with a few choice words that seems to work. lol I'm interested to see how she likes the padded buffer tube? I have one on my 9mm AR and love it but wasn't sure if it would rattle my teeth on a .223?Finally put the wife's AR pistol together. Damn thing gave me a fit with the Bolt Catch roll pin. Just didn't want to get started, but I prevailed after a few choice words LOL! It is a 7.5" BCA Complete upper/Anderson Lower/LPK and Buffer tube kit from Outdoor Sports USA/Polymer Backup sights/Magwell grip and a Romeo 5. Won't be able to shoot for a couple more weeks but will let ya know how she likes it.
Thanks! I am not sure with a .223 either. I will shoot it first to sight it in and give her an idea of how it feels. Then probably swap over to the .22LR conversion for her to shoot it to begin with to get used to it. Was going over the characteristics/operation of the different functions and relating it to how it compares to her Glock 43. Also explaining the red dot and how it functions. The buffer spring is kinda heavy for her and I may get a lighter one for her to use later as it will probably be .22LR most of the time.Looks good Doug! The tube that comes out the back of the lower receiver that has the foam pad attached to it. Inside the tube there's a spring and a buffer that's weighted. It helps cycle the bolt to push the round out.Forgive my ignorance....
Why the buffer tube?
Why not a regular stock on it?The tube that comes out the back of the lower receiver that had the foam pad attached to it.
I chose just using the buffer tube as the ATF is looking to make a pistol with a brace a SBR or AOW making them a NFA item. And I will be damned if I will become a felon or pay the $200 tax stamp right now.Forgive my ignorance....
Why the buffer tube?
I have several different ones so I wanted to change mine up a bit. Most of mine have a regular 5 position brace on them like this one. This brace will absorb a lot of the recoil and be more comfortable. Why not a regular stock on it?
That looks like it would hurt even with the pad.
