I get so annoyed that the nation is so easily fooled by lies. I know ive said it before but in general civilians do not own and cant buy military or assault weapons. I dont wanna show just how much tin foil is on my head but some of these mass shootings seem to have worked like clock work under very clinical conditions and had controlled outcomes... why is no one banning forks and spoons to prevent me from being a fat ass. all those boots on the ground at uvalde and no one could stop the lil bastard until all that time past. when i was that age I think my wood shop teacher would have taken that threat out before he even fired a shot! Mr.g was a Korean war combat vet. Best shot with a rifle ive ever seen in my life. In summer he taught the Tx hunter safety course and the basic NRA safety pistol / rifle courses. what part of shall not be infringed do the elites not understand. i hate seeing history happen over again and we dont learn. ok im off the soap box.

I want to say they were savage but I never qualified on them. I was quilled on the M14 an 1911 .45. This was in '83 an we got the worn out hand me downs from the marines. All those weapons were probably replaced when they phased in the Beretta 9 mm's. On my last sea tour in 93-95 the watch duty I stood didn't involve long weapons I was only recertified on the 1911. I will always have a 1911 for sentimental reasons but I don't like the way the have to be taken apart an put together when you clean them. I struggle with that stupid pin in the barrel link that moves when I'm trying to put it together. My Sig P226 is such a superior weapon but I wasn't a seal so I didn't carry one while in.
i love 1911s. they just fit the hand so well.

Me too. I'm a decent shot with one. I have a cheapie that's a good shooter. I'd like a higher end one but I don't shoot enough to justify the cost. I have a stub nose .357 I keep for a truck gun an I'm considering replacing it with the 1911 since I can actually hit something with the 1911.

i have had that exact struggle more than once. i started taking a tooth pick and using it to help me line up everything. tooth pick typically will not scratch anything and helps avoid some of that lil scratch on the frame.

While I agree with the previous couple of pages against the House passing more BS…….here’s a few Phoenix Trinity pistols to break things up a bit.

AZ (along with several others) has already declared the state a 2A Sanctuary State. Unless things change here in Nov I'm not going to even worry about these articles. Besides SCOTUS has finally been doing their job and overturning many bans that have been found to be UN-Constitutional and this will just head there.

Come And Take It.png
So, I know Arizona is a 2A Sanctuary State, but I'm still kind of wondering what that will mean for us if this thing is passed. I bought my AR back in June, so I am not too concerned right now. But surely someday I'm gonna want another. Are we really going actually be allowed to buy ARs from shops and dealers here in AZ ya think? And if we can, are they not going to cost $10k per?

I'm not 100% positive but my understanding is anything we have now you can keep, sell and hand down to family. That's even IF this bill passes. Now if it goes through I don't think the gun manufacturers will be able to sell AR's anymore because now they're banned. There are several gun manufacturers in AZ so I'm not sure how that'll work for us. Maybe they'll be able to sell to those in state? The bigger worry right now should be what's going to happen here in AZ come November. That'll tell whether we'll still be a sanctuary 2A state.

Are you worried about November in AZ here? I can't say that I am, even with the "purple" trend we saw in 2020. Do you really think there are that many idiots in this state that will vote ANYONE blue into office here after the shitshow we've seen throughout the country in the past 18 months? Lake is currently pretty solidly in the lead for Gov, right? And when's the last time AZ had anything but a pretty solidly red state legislature?

I guess anything is possible, especially with the election screwiness, but I can't see how it could happen here again with everyone watching it like a hawk.

There's so many people moving here from CA, OR, WA and IL that I'm definitely a little worried. I hear what you're saying and feel the same but to answer your question (without getting to political) yes I think there are that many idiot not just here but throughout the country. ?‍♂ By all means KL should win by a landslide!! I'll breath a lot better once this is all over with in November.

i guess im not clear what is being banned. I mean assault weapons are 90 % in the hands of govt and law enforcement. The old NFA pre ban stuff is few and far between not to mention crazy high cost. So is it magazine capacity they are after now or folding stocks or guns that are black plastic clad or what ?
When I lived in CA, I did a lot of shooting in a couple of venues. The CA gun scene was one where you had a labyrinth of laws, some overlapping, contradictory and always appeared purposefully confusing. Probably because many of the laws were passed by people who knew nothing about guns and didn’t care that what they were passing made absolutely no sense.

The best site I ever saw (and used a lot) was Calguns.net. There might be similar sites in other states that cover local laws, etc. But I always found Calguns a great resource for not only the CA law complexities but also what was going on nationally.

Sometime when you have time (if you haven’t already), check out Calguns.net. It is an amazing place for everything guns.

For anyone living in CA and wants to stay on the right side of the guns laws, it is critical.

the influx of people to my state, and city is simply crazy. I have never seen plates from so many places in my area. they are coming from states like maine, new hampshire and of course california... I saw one a few months ago from rode island , I was shocked like wth are they moving here for. never even seen a RI plate until recently :crazy:God help us if they didnt leave the failed politics at home. If they move here and vote the way they did at home things are going to go to poop.
the lunacy of this entire "ban" rhetoric makes me wanna puke. The marxist can ban everything and violence will still happen. Guns do not cause crime. However, defunding and demoralizing police officers and communities does create a crime encouraging environment lol. i guess once they ruin texas and the handful of other free market states I may have to move to arkansas (insert banjos).

It is a very comprehensive site, but truth be told, the most important parts are the sections on the status of current laws that are in process, analysis by experts on what the details entail, etc.

For people like ourselves, out of staters, the analysis of the Federal (proposed house bills) and what they mean probably the most valuable. They also have a pretty good reloading section. ;)

What you are seeing about the influx of out of staters into the state is mirrored here.

When we moved to Idaho and told friends (both liberal and conservatives), they were like, “you are moving where?”

More than one has since (many years now) said, “Man, how did you know how bad it was going to get (all SF people), I always say, “honestly we didn’t, we mainly wanted a garden…”. They don’t believe me. :)

One thing that I just thought of is all the jobs some of these "evil" ban items have at risk. I cannot count how many companies make some item for popular platforms like the ar. It is not just the "gun" companies, lots of metal shops, finishes, plastics, castings, forgers, tools, shop machines, maintenance and many others. id wager a bad guess that most ar rifles are at least a combination of 2 manufactures parts, even if branded the same. like who has not seen an upper made by anchor harvey or bafe on guns from tons of different labels. With the inflation we have now and high cpi any one getting laid of or going out of biz is brutal.
