So, I'm pretty sure I solved my overheating-when-towing-uphill problem by cleaning a bunch of leaves and debris from the various coils. Now I'd like to get a screen for the grille and area below the grille to stop the debris from getting embedded in the coils. I looked at the FIA GS902-27 which is specific to the 2019 Ranger, but it protects only the grille area above the bumper. I'd like to protect the areas that are within the bumper as well. I'm thinking of getting the FIA model above and buying some stainless steel screen to fabricate something that will protect the bumper areas but could be removed easily.
Does anybody have a screen they like that protects all areas in front of the cooling coils, or a screen they're happy with?
Many thanks, Mark

I have the Putco lower insert. Many here have the Mountains to Metal brand insert.
Both look good and protect that opening while allowing air flow.
Minimal install time.

I have the Mountains to Metal version....similar to Chris's photo...works very well, 5 minute install.
I was interested in the FIA Bug Screen....had never seen it before....something I would definately use when towing our travel trailer.
Have it in my Amazon cart...$5 bucks cheaper than FIA web site and free shipping....
Thanks for the info....

Will do. It's not my first choice, but seems like the best I've been able to find.
I wish auto mfrs incorporated a slide-out filter like room air conditioners have. Makes so much more sense than getting junk in your cooling coils!

Daymn, I thought I was done buying stuff for this truck!
But that lower grill insert seems like a good idea.
So, I have a couple of questions for you folks:

To those with the Putco insert, do you have a front license plate?
(I ask because the website says I might have to relocate it, and I'm not sure how hard that'd be?)

To those with the Mountains2Metal insert, do you have Adaptive Cruse Control?
(I ask because it doesn't seem to have the cutout for the square radar thing that the Putco does. The website says it's compatible with ACC, so I guess the insert in front of it doesn't bother it?)

I'm probably overthinking this, but thought I'd ask.
Thanks

You should know you're never done buying stuff on here. ?

I have the M2M insert with ACC and it does not interfere with it. I've had it on for over a year now without any issues.

Sorry I can't help with the license plate because we don't need one here.

I also have the M2M and ACC and no interference with the ACC
