If Ford would have offered a crew cab with a 6 foot bed I would have bought one instead of a super cab. I wanted the longer bed but it would have been nice to have a second vehicle that could carry five people.

And you resurrected a 3 year old thread, that's Pauls @OrangeStreak job. He's kind of famous around here for doing that along with his crooked parking. ??

I don’t park crooked but I can resurrect almost anything. When I was pricing out a Canyon they did offer the long bed. Come on Ford.

Would a 6' bed on the super crew require a longer wheel base? If so, I'm out. I love the maneuverability of the 5' Ranger. One reason I I sold my F-150.

Ranger w/b is 126“ the 150 super cab and crew is between 145” - 164” I can’t believe it would take that much more for a foot.

My gut feeling is that conventional wisdom is trending towards smaller trucks vs the behemoth full size we have today. The mid size PU's we have are actually slightly larger than the full size pickups up to the early 60's.
