This appears to be where the front end harness comes through the dash. The only way to get this grommet is with the harness

So Benny, you are saying that Ford has officially discontinued the trailer brake controller kit for the 5G Ranger! What are people without one suppose to do to get a controller that works with the AEB? Redarc does not make the Lumen module or the harness.

I think if this the case I would search extensively for a still in stock somewhere TBC ford branded unit, there has to be some still available but will take a dedicated search to find it, may have to use Amazon or EBay etc.

I hate to think this way, but IMO, the Ranger may not be on Fords production line in NA for much longer (AGAIN!!!).

It seems more & more replacement parts are being discontinued by Ford; even though the same parts are being made to build them.

Aftermarket manufacturers seem to be picking up very little of the slack.

As for the trailer brake controller. I know you can buy the Redarc module by itself, but could you buy the Lumen module and harnesses directly from Lumen? Is the reason Ford is discontinuing the TBC kit because Lumen is not making their part of the equation anymore?

In the end (where the people who own a Ranger are taking it) are just SOL and stuck rummaging for spare parts in a junkyard.

I thought it was required of auto manufacturers to have replacement parts available for a number of years after a model was discontinued. The 5G has only been discontinued for a year!
