So Ford directly collaborates for a front bumper, but can't be bothered to design and toss in a couple of holes for parking sensors? lol

"Requires dealer install"

$$$ grab by Ford. Lame as hell.

Reason I passed on the Tech pkg, don't need or want it, and less crap to go wrong or put in. Miss the days of old. But need to adapt to some degree here

Since it's been talked about since 1902, when they started designing and promo-ing this bumper, they weren't thinking about front sensors, as the tech hadn't been developed yet.

Yes, I know 'promo-ing' isn't a real word. Yes, I know that sentence structure is abominable. (yes, I had to use spell check to get abominable spelled correctly.)

Sorry, it's early and my sarcasm levels are off the chart.

not really true. This article from 2020 says it will retain the holes and such for parking sensors. I guess they dropped it for some reason.

I'm giving this some serious thought. what do we really think about drilling this for sensors? In the gallery of the FP website, there are a bunch of pics that show this bumper with ACC & sensors.

I called ARB Tech support, and the guy couldn't find anything on why the sensors were a bad idea. He certainly didn't discourage me from trying.
Any thought on this?

Thanks
