Looking to get rid of my prop rod, and go to struts for the hood.

I found these two part numbers on the forums here.

Is there anything else I would need to get this to work?

I was not aware that some Rangers did not have struts from the factory. What model do you have?

In regards to the parts the struts you have are correct but you would also need
x 2 -W713050-S439 ball studs
KB3Z-16A298-B reinforcement plates
KB3Z-16A298-A


The hardware for the plates is not shown so I am not sure if it is already present. If you can take a photo of the inner fender area it may help.

Thanks for that. So there is mention the studs are there already, With that being said just the Props are needed.

I have a 2022 XL STX Special Edition and it has a prop rod. It only holds the hood open like a quarter of the way, very obnoxious.

I'll take a pic and post it here.
