hey guys...long time, ot post...
I got the BellTech 3/4 installed back in May. I ended up having something like -2 degrees or so of camber, so I ordered BellTech's upper control arms. They were supposed to ship mid-May, then July, then November and now mid-late January. I am not a happy camper...
I am worried about the frame to axle clearance too, but the ROW Ranger seem to be able have a lower rear ride height. I'm pretty sure the frame is the same so there should be a way to get the NA Ranger a little lower in the rear.
The one I got from Tasca worked fine. You have to trim a different outline in the plastic trim piece than what is embossed on it or modify the mounting clips on the plug, but it works and looks exactly like to OEM installed ones.
I agree...I really should have had the dealer swap them for me, but it would have meant waiting a couple days to take delivery and I thought I would be OK with the "upgraded" wheels.
upon further review...
The ride height is my biggest pet peeve. The front is too low for the 4x, big tire, off road guys and the rear is too high for the 2x, light duty guys. Ford REALLY should have had two different suspension setups for the Ranger rather than making it a part 4x and a part 2x.
My only real pet peeve is the creaky door pull/armrest, that really annoys me...I'd like it if the armrest was farther back on the door and the dashboard temp controls were easier to see too. OH, and it would be great if the trucks butt wasn't so high in the air...so I guess I do have more than...
I had a hard time finding a supercab with any sort of options in SoCal too...fortunately while looking at one I sorted liked I found one I really liked once I saw it in person.
You would think they were the same, but Gibson's website show only them only for Crew Cab/5 foot bed models. Maybe there are different brackets or something?
