My 2020 Lariat FX4 501a with towing package shows 1330lbs. Strange, to me, that there's so much variance between everyone.

My 2020 Lariat with tow package says 1562 Lbs.

A Weight distributing hitch was not part of Fords testing to determine the 7500lb tow rating. The SAE J 2807 specifies “minimum” requirements etc. meaning it will tow 7500 without extra help needed (sway control, WDHs etc). Is it often a good idea to use these? Yes.

My Lariat is lower (1376) but most likely because it's a SCrew.

My 2020 Xlt fx4 Super Crew has 1476 lbs payload on the sticker. It’s black, black is lighter since it don’t have the heavy metallic in the paint ?

I thought black absorbed more light so wouldn't it be heavier?

Crazy how numbers are all over the place, my 21 fx4 lariat super crew, 501a package, tow package, loaded except tremor package, my payload is 1406
