Fuel tank skid plate

Can anyone confirm whether the skid plate under the fuel tank is plastic or metal? I asked Levittown about a part number and that is what Benny asked in return. Thanks!

I domt have the FX4 package and mine is plastic as well. Now mind you I also have a lift on my truck and have not hit the plate at all. Hope that helps.

I couldn't tell a difference between the fx4 and non fx4 skid plate. Both looked the same and both were plastic.
