Good point and I didn't even think about that. I know with my Jeep it states there's 4 gallons of gas put in from the factory. There's going to be an awful lot of moisture building up in them just sitting out there.
Back in Nov I did some pre winter maintenance on both my snowblowers and started them, I figured I’d leave the gas in them only about a pint or so ( I ran the carbs dry by shutting the fuel switch off so that limited the ice to the tank only )well we had a snow storm about 2 weeks ago and they were both hard to start I know I had left fuel in them but unscrewed the cap to check and saw a little bit of frozen ice floating no doubt from the alcohol blended in the gas, I drained the tanks and refilled and they both started up, a lesson learned.

I sense some main seal leaks in the future for some of these broncos...
Looks as though Ford is planning on this becoming their new normal.

Notice the steel building being built in the lower left corner?

You don't add infrastructure to a "temporary" parking lot.
good catch I didn’t pick that up lol I was so mesmerized by the rest of that image, I bet they’ll bring ( push) the vehicles in there to put in the missing parts plus workers would have electric for tools and shelter.

I wonder if the Blend date on the window sticker will reflect when it was made or when it was finished?

Yours is outside year round but you're also driving it and not letting it sit for months. There's a reason why people who store their vehicles for extended periods store them inside with a battery tender and not just leave them sitting frozen under a pile of snow. ?

For someone like myself where my vehicle will never see those elements I don't want to subject it to it. Especially when I'm paying $50K+ it should be built when the parts are available not sitting outside in sub zero weather covered in snow. Maybe I'm wrong but I cant see how sitting like this where everything is frozen can this be good for the electronics especially the new 12" screens? Frost is going to set inside and moisture builds up every time it thaws and continues to go through this cycle. All I know is I'm glad mine isn't one of those sitting out there frozen. ?
I get it, i wouldn't want one that I knew was sitting around for a while if I ordered it. Someone will buy it and it will be just fine though.
Mine does sit for a week or 2 covered in snow without being driven since I'm working from home full time now.
I did find signs of frost in it after the last storm.

It was gone after I moved it to clean it off and it warmed up. Possible some moisture may have gotten in since this was the side of the truck where the wind and snow was driven towards. Didn't find any frost anywhere else but on this side.

You're right that in most cases it probably won't be a problem. My OCD cant handle the thought of getting one of these. But I'd be worried about the moisture build up in the gas tank and the battery life. Another concern would be ( depending on how long they've sat) the amount of moisture built up inside the seats especially if they're cloth. Will mold develop over time because of this? Yeah, I'm way over thinking this! ?

With all of the attention Neil Young is getting now a days, he could cash in!
Imagine a commercial where he pulls up in a Jeep or another truck, gets out and looks under one of those Bronco's and grins while lifting an eyebrow. Then the camera zooms in on the rust!
Then he drives away still smiling!
Us old timers will get it! ;)

plenty of our rides sit out in the weather but i really doubt most of them get snowed inside of and iced over like that in the interior like the pictures show..

I've had gas I'm running in the snow blower and lawnmower sitting around for at least 18 months, no issues and my garage wasn't above freezing for a couple weeks. I run the same gas from the previous season in the boat without issue when I pull it out in the spring. I do run the carb dry when winterizing as I had to rebuild it about 10 yrs ago after the fuel left residue in the bowl. I add sta-bil a few times a year. Boat also sat out many winters under cover and even a couple years without issue when the kids were young. No mold, mildew or mice.
Don't let the OCD get to you, just go with the flow...

The pictures RP @RANGER PRIDE posted were from an article where someone claimed snow got inside their Bronco. That was somewhere in upper Canada after a blizzard.

Last year there were thousands built and sitting on dirt mountain. This was just taken on Saturday, look at how many are built and sitting outside freezing waiting for parts. ? I wouldn't want mine just sitting out there like this all winter.

Word is that some of those will be delivered in May. Me; reserved 7-15-20, ordered, pushed to MY22, re-ordered last October....now this. I have no confidence I will get mine this year and will be ultra-upset as my color choice will probably not be carried over to 2023.

That's your issue you didn't fill the tank.

you left warm humid air, and alcohol in a metal air tight tank.

I do the same preseason start and run, I even turn off the fuel valve and let the carb run dry, but while that is doing that I top the tank off to full.

No air, less moisture,no ice.

Empty tanks get condensation which freezes. Alcohol takes a lot colder temps than the bulk the 48 states received last month to freeze.

Lesson always keep your tank topped up with gas in cold winter. never let it run dry.

If I was storing something for 30 days or more I'd always use Sta-Bil. Fill the tank and add the appropriate amount and I never had a problem starting anything. My snowblower would sit in an old barn for up to 10 months like this and would start up on the first two pulls. I can't see Ford filling the gas tanks and doing this to thousands of Broncos.
