I still have the sheet that says I was only out by .05 within 1000 miles I started to notice, then I took this at around 4k, Im not a happy camperI don't even know how its possible to have that much wear on a tire in 4 - 5000 miles.
So the first tire that I put on my Ranger after raising it up was also the 285/70/17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I loved them for their looks, traction, stability, quietness etc. However, they were pretty much worn out at 30k miles. (there are other similar wear comments on the forum about these Nittos) I went back to Discount Tire (where I bought them) about the rapid wear and was informed the Nittos had no mileage warranty. I was pretty bummed but Discount gave me a $100 per tire customer loyalty (or something) discount on my next set (that were not Nittos). I do tow frequently and heavy. Perhaps a discussion with your tire store would bring similar results.I still have the sheet that says I was only out by .05 within 1000 miles I started to notice, then I took this at around 4k, Im not a happy camper
how many people can just go out and buy a new set to 285/70, and coming up on inspection in 2 months, this aint gonna pass, its not safe at all but it dont handle that bad on snow and ice LOL
