I am having my tires on my Ranger rotated at Discount Tire and there was abnormal wear on my right rear tire. Background I have stock Bridgestone Dueler tires with just about 12,000 miles. The tire had 4/32 tread left. The others were at 6/32. Is this a concern that it is just 1 tire like this? Seems like excessive wear for that mileage. I don’t drive crazy but I’ve been know to floor it hear and there.

Might be a stupid question but I’m not knowledgeable on tires. Anything I should be concerned about? They told me about changing the tire but I don’t think it’s necessary right now. Seems my tires would be lasting a bit longer.

The Bridgestones are kinda crap for line traction, and will happily break loose with any hint of spirited acceleration. More so when it's wet out and seeing as you're in Houston, it seems like its been wet almost daily for the past serval months... I'm at 8K miles and am already down to 7/32 (new 11/32) and don't drive all that aggressively. Needless to say I am rather disappointed with the poor tread life. Bridgestone claims these to have a 60K life, but as fast as they wear I'd be shocked if they last 35-45K miles.
