Good day all. Recently I decided to replace the front suspension with the Fox Shocks 2.0 kit. Watched plenty of videos and did a bunch of reading on the forum and thought to myself.. I got this no problem. Unbolted everything and was trying to get the tie rod end ball joint free and for the life of me I could not do this based on all the information that I had acquired. So eventually I had to get a ball joint separator to get the tie rod end out of the knuckle. This was done on a less than 5k mile suspension with a truck that lives in a pretty arid environment. So a word of advice/caution, if you are planning on doing this on a Ranger with cast iron knuckles pickup a ball joint separator, like the one listed on the Mountune Fox Shock install video and save yourself some muscle power and frustration.
