Forum Flaming

[THLONE]

When making inflammatory comments on flaming one should really show some examples of said flaming. Then we could decide whether to flame you or not biased on those flaming examples. Some flaming is in the fiery eye of the beer holder. Who doesnt like to see a good fire.

When a topic gets bad, dumb or nasty reply’s I just don’t go it that post anymore. I ignore the red alerts on the upper right screen showing that someone replied to me. Just “mark as read” and they no longer are in alert.

At that point of annoyance I don’t care what they said and don’t reply to them. And if a reply is anything over a couple sentences I generally ignore their reply anyway.

O yeah......

I've been on several gun forums like that. Once the questions answered it gets locked. Then someone needs to start another thread because they have other questions pertaining to the original one. Now you have 50 different threads talking about the same subject whereas if you just left the original one open you'd have one with 50 posts.

The search bar here isn't the most user friendly so it's easier to type your question into a Google search. Usually the first response comes from Ranger 5G on the topic you're search for.

I agree Dave. Same for Amazon. If you search for a specific item they shove their promoted featured crap that often times doesn't pertain to what the search was, but if I search Google low and behold the Amazon item pops up. Ebay has a much better search, not perfect just better and easier filters
