No (ONLY)change the hex noted -the check sum will change to something different (AUTOMATICALLY)Just in case I am missing something, IPC as built
720-01-02 from 0263-901F to 0263-921F, then hit write. It gave some check sum error but I continued.
The normal chime was still there but then I had a pop up of the seat belts showing zero were buckled, which was correct. That pop up I have never seen (XLT), kinda cool but not needed. Changed it back to oem.
Maybe I just had a long day (work is insane this time of year) but I think I entered it correctly? Just didnt work on my truck?
Do not physically alter anything other than what is noted within the (xxxx-xxxx)
So when it is noted to change:
(xxxx-x2xx) the only thing you change is the (2) and hit write. The (1F) in the line will change on its own to something different, this goes for all hex lines - the last 2 in (xxxx) or (xxxx-xxxx) or (xxxx-xxxx-xxxx) = (Check-Sum)
The Checksum (Last 2 Hex) on any line will be a (check) for (Is the line a valid) code written on this line, so let the last 2 be whatever they need to be, you are changing the code on the line and this will change. The last 2 cannot and will not be the same as the OEM if you alter anything.
