Forscan auto start/stop

I went in and "disabled" the auto start/stop using the menu screen, not inputting the hex number. It did not work. Any ideas? Should I revert the menu screen choice back to enabled and go in and do the hex number?

I may have found my own answer. Reverted the menu choice back to default and changed the hex number. It seemed to work. I will take the truck out again tomorrow to make sure.

Same here, had to edit the "As Built" hex.

Definitely something I can forgive the amazing folks that put and update Forscan for. If it was a couple hundred dollars, I'd expect the menus to be perfect but for all but free ware, its nearly priceless perfection.

The menu edit in the IPC section is for the message on the instrument panel, hence the IPC section.

Its not a problem or error with forscan, its 2 different auto start stop items.

Thanks that worked perfectly. I really didn't mind some of the auto start stop but when you pull up to work or home, come to a stop the engine would shut off then immediately restart when you put it in park before you turned it off.
