Fords new white lettering on the blue oval

I wanted to do a pole on this but couldn't figure out how to.
Ford has changed the blue oval lettering to white instead of the silver chrome lettering.
I personally like the old blue oval. It looked good on any Ranger/Ford vehicle.
I don't like the new one but on a white vehicle. Just my opinion of course.

Do they light at night? There is an aftermarket emblem that lights with the parking lights. Maybe some dealers are installing them.

It’s a Ford thing - chrome vs. white - started with the F-150. Although, it does look like the Putco lighted version

I can just imagine the reaction when Ford replaces the cursive font because “no one” under 40 can read it.

OK I was at the dealer today for a Quicklane and they had a Maverick Lobo on the lot. This isn't that one, but they have the cheap-ass black and white badge:
