Well this was the first time I have ever put fog lights in. I have the lights installed took most of the day lol but I didn’t have to cut the crash bar and the second one went in a lot easier. So what do you think???

No I haven’t wired it yet it literally took me most of the day to take those blanks out and add the fog lights. I have a friend who is going to help me with the wiring. Plus I have a light bar coming also. I might as well wire them up at the same time. This what it looked like with the blanks installed.

I read in a post where the wiring was there but when I installed the lights I didn’t see any existing wiring for that. That would be nice

I got a question there is a red wire (hot) and black wire (ground) on the switch where do you hook it up and do I have to hook those up since the light are hooked up to the battery?!?!?

Looks much better with the fog lights!
Are those the factory fog light pods?

How did you get on with the wiring?

Depending on the amount of current you draw to run the lights you probably won’t be connecting them directly to a switch. You will need a relay that can handle high current. Switch works on low current side of the relay. Many happy years of use that way!

He’s going to be minus the dash switch for them. Not sure if there is a spot and a cover is over that. There is a factory harness and I’m sure it’s simpler that way because of sealed connections used. Changing out a bulb you’re going to be glad you did

It would be nice if the wiring was there an the plugs just not used. Then you would only need to buy the switch an add the fuses.

So I basically used like a wiring harness for a led light bar and ordered the fog light through Amazon. I just have an external switch on my dash behind the turn signal.
