Hey all!

Was looking though the forum here, and I noticed the Ford Performance Power Pack Calibration (M-9603-REB) only says 2019-2021 Ranger. Are there any differences in 2022 that would prevent this from working? Has anyone tried to install it on an MY22?

Not sure if they just forgot to update the website, or if MY22 had some behind the scenes ECU changes that may have broken the FP tuner.

I just bought one that the tech tried to install on a 2022, it would not install. Because they are VIN specific, it had to get a new voucher number (activation code) from FPP.

Yes I was, dealer took care of it.

So delayed again! And the factory hesitations have me hating this truck. Already had it in the shop for 3 weeks of the 7 I've owned it. Said designed to kill on acceleration. Cuz they can't make it move. Wife is set to suit Ford as soon as I get hit trying to cross an intersection. This is the most dangerous vehicle I've driven in 50 years of driving.

So sell it? Jesus, if it was the most dangerous vehicle you’ve operated in 50 years, why wait? I‘m sorry yours is like that, really. Mine is awesome and I’ve never felt more safe in a vehicle but im not a cheerleader, get something that works for you.

FWIW, I have been driving turbo 4cyl vehicles continuously as my daily drivers since 1985 and have accumulated over 3/4 of a million miles. All of them have been tuned and I have never had a turbo, internal engine or other power train failure.

Lucky guy, I've been doing the same since 90, I like to fiddle with things and crank up the boost. Had a couple meltdowns but the joy in between was unmatched.

Installed the tune today and just finished a post install shake-down cruise with no apparent issues.

id say budget an hour start to finish.

that hour includes updating the ProCal, downloading stock tune, uploading stock to ford, downloading performance tune, and lastly installing performance tune.

UPDATE: forgot to mention, during download of tune from ford, a nag screen came stating Not Approved for The Land of Fruits and Nuts aka California

I got impatient and went with another tuner but still not happy with the transmission shifting.
