Ford performance grille vs ebay special

I recently purchased an aftermarket raptor style grill for $100 on ebay, and am not pleased with the quality. The letters did not snap in flush and have gaps. How is the quailty on the ford brand grille? I can get ome from my local dealer for $225. Thanks

Yeah that’s no good. You should definitely buy the Ford grille. I bought mine from Stage3.

The OEM Grille does not require you to apply the letters, it is made as a one piece model with all of the OEM clips in place. Just pull your old grill off and snap the new one on. I did mine the same time I swapped out my OEM headlights for the Alpha Rex lights I have now.

I was able to put the magnetic gray trim on my ford performance grill to give it that oem plus look.

Same as @RangerFitz, I re-used the magnetic grill surround from the old grill. If you're using the FP grill as-is without reusing anything from your original grill, the fit is OEM snap-in and made very well.

think mine was the old version stage 3 sold. Was pretty good fitment for a non oem part. Painted it magnetic grey and kept the ford letters black.
Not sure if theyre still sold but i prefer the old design vs the new ford one

Hey I got my light kit frome stage3, check them out.
