I'm not usually one for the flashy red on my trucks but I was playing around with the B&P and saw this and went. ? Now if I decide to get one I might go back to white only because the red will show a lot more scratches and also with the dust out here will be harder to keep clean.

I heard this one the news this morning. That guys gone stupid crazy. With all the cars on the road out there stopping the sale of gas yard equipment is like throwing a peddle in the ocean. Virtue signaling at it's best. SMH

And I don't know what the lawn businesses will do. There's not an electric leaf blower that will run more than 20 minutes on a chrge that I could find. And I searched a lot this spring to replace my old Echo.

Just for the heck of it I sent Granger a pdf yesterday afternoon with a build sheet off the Jeep B&P. Received their quote back today with their invoice price plus 4% off which comes out very close to my Bronco order. This is pretty much a fully loaded Rubicon minus the adaptive cruise as I don't need or like it. Now my Bronco is a 2dr and this one is a 4dr because I want the Extreme 35" package which only comes in the 4dr model. I will test drive one soon if I can find a local dealer that has one similar.

Love it. You can always throw 35s on a stock rubicon if you wanted. You can also option 4.88s with the manual. You might've known that already. I'm just waiting to find out if FCA is still doing affiliate rewards on the Gladiator which will determine whether I'm at 7% or 8% under invoice. Will be ordering from Gupton in TN. I say keep your Ranger and mix it up with the Jeep. I like the bronco a lot but as they're too hard to find and too expensive and I desperately want a manual trans again, Jeep it is. They drive better than the auto journalists lead on.

I configured it with a hard top but for some reason the soft top doesn't look all that and on the Jeep.

Here's mine brother. We picked the Sting Gray, and it's great. It's doesn't show dirt at all. The soft top on the Jeep is much better. You can roll up the back glass where you can't on the Bronco, and there's no waves in the windows. We wanted a hard top, and it done very well.

Trust me I'm all for clean air but like usual they never think these things out. I had a second business back east pressure washing houses (mine were gas) but yes you can wash them with an electric one it'll just take longer. What they didn't think of is the larger companies who do big commercial fleets and they need larger heavy duty washers which are only available in gas form right now. Now way you're washing 100+ tractor trailer boxes with a gas powered pressure washer. Oh, they also need heat, the ones I were looking at were a hot box (internal heaters) so it helps for faster washing especially in colder climates.

Thanks for the info Josh! I haven't driven a Jeep in a very long time so I will have more time next week to go out and hopefully find one similar to what I'd order. The one I configured was msrp of $58,375 and after discounts $52,844 which is right on par with a loaded Badlands.

Beautiful looking Jeep Jim! I would just keep that and tell Ford to pound sand. But I know it's easier said than done when you have your heart set on getting a Bronco. It's the principal though.

It's a significant amount of smog and greenhouse gasses. No catalytic converters, no fuel injection, mostly mechanical (or magneto) ignition & carbs.

I agree about the battery life, but I've been using corded for years to take advantage of high torque, lightweight electric motors that can do a lot with 10-13 amps that don't run out in 20-30 minutes.

It's also just so much easier, especially with the way ethanol gasoline blends destroy small engine fuel systems. I'm sure engine shops were probably loving THAT. The two shops I know & talk to aren't worried about the ban, they read the writing on the wall and started shifting stock to battery & corded years ago, as did manufacturers.

I am a little concerned lawmakers didn't fully consider the problem when they included certain devices though. A corded electric or battery powered generator isn't as much use as they assume when PG&E decides to shut off power for a few days. I guess that should boost F-150 Lightning sales, though!

I have solar, as well as a Tesla Powerwall for my home, don't even need the grid much. My generator is LPG or Propane, depending on the setup, a 30lb tank lasts several days. When I had a gas generator I would have to spot it downwind 100' from the RV or I would get a headache from the fumes. All of my yard equipment is battery powered. But I do feel for the commercial guys, the switchover cost is going to be huge.

True enough haha but to be fair, it did take Jeep a couple of decades to get it right.

I subscribe to their channel and they have some good videos but of course promote themselves which is understandable.

Your right Alex it's a shame this launch was/is such a mess as it's a really good/fun vehicle to drive. I guess I wouldn't be so upset if I hadn't had the chance to drive one one and off road. It's a tease for sure. ?
