Most people sacrifice their health for convenience now and I put a lot of blame on technology for this. There's an app for everything now and DoorDash is just a click away. Eating healthy isn't really that much more expensive just time consuming because you actually have to do something.....Cook it!

Even doing little things like parking far out in the parking lot and walking helps. I've been doing this forever because 1: I don't want someone hitting my truck and 2: It gives you a little more expertise exercise walking a few more steps. Take a look at the ones fighting for the close spots, they're the ones who could use a few more steps.🤢 We walk 4-5 miles just about every afternoon because keeping your body moving and your circulation is one key to good health.

There's a lot of truth in this!

There is NOTHING in the grocery store inner aisles that is healthy and safe to eat. We stick to orgainc produce and eggs, meats, etc. Essentially nothing in a bag, box or jar, except pure peanut butter with nothing else on the content label.

Recently a grocery chain was found to be spraying the fresh produce with preservatives known to cause cancers. It wasn't simply water!

Generally If it can be left on the table and doesn't begin to decay in 3 days, you ought not be eating it. This list includes breads, produce, and meats. Commercial baked goods, Deli meats, Rotisserie chiocken, Cookies, Chips, etc., are bad.

That
That's not surprising and it's almost impossible to get away from these toxic things from food, to water to meds and even OTC meds. I do a full cleans ever month and try and flush as much toxins out as possible because they're everywhere. I love it because it's quick and easy and only take s couple hours of your morning and after you're done you're GTG.

It's 1 liter of warm-hot water, 3 teaspoons of Himalayan pink salt and I use lemon but you can use anything to cut the taste which isn't really that bad. You're supposed to drink it within 20-30 minutes and it usually takes about an hour to work. It's smooth acting and doesn't cramp you up or keep you house bound all day, if you know what I mean. lol

Yes. My CRV requires that fee as well but my Ranger does not.
The only 5 things govenments really excel at:
  • separating you from your $$,
  • protecting itself,
  • war,
  • lying,
  • and exponential growth.
And they've gotten very creative at all 5.

We no longer consume bread. We both become ill when we eat it.

We started making our own bread. Still got sick. Attributed it to gluten, but I suspect it is toxins like glyphosate. Our home made bread would only last 3 days before moldlng unless we froze it.

The aroma filled the house when we baked it! Taste was phenomenal. Nutrionally far superior to industrial breads. But we finally (years ago) left wheat behind, no pasta, no breads, nothing with gluten.

If we coud find a clean source of wheat I'd try it again, but it seems impossible to find nonGMO low pesticide wheat. Even when glyphosate isn't used for pesticide, it is still sprayed on grains to speed drying.

Our European friends visit, get sick after a few days, go home and get back to normal. They think (rightfully so) it is our food doing the damage.

Average American is a drive through living individual. “What? Walk? Me? Oh the horror!”

Edit: I actually meant “loving” individual. But in this case living works due to the amount of time so many folks spend in drive through lanes.
I enjoy watching the drive thru folks get their order and then find a close by parking spot and proceed to chomp it down, I guess that's better than eating while driving. Yes some people bird or wildlife watch whereas a hobby of mine is watching the drive thrus, I have seen people get their food from the drive thru then proceed to drive away and throw the food wrappings from their vehicle, but the larger question is when is Ford going to start offering that steering wheel that they filed a patent on, it folds into a lap table so people don't have to worry about a greasy fry or ketchup drip inadvertently staining their apparel.

I 100% believe it's our food here making them sick. Just look up US food vs other countries and see how much different ours is. This is one of many out there showing the differences. More proof that big pharma pays off everyone from the FDA,CDC and our crooked politicians for profit!🤬

Most of these ingredients are known to cause cancer and guess who's going to profit from that:question:

I haven't eaten bread in years and only buy these wraps for lunch. They're zero net carbs and much better than bread.

If you go back to when big tobacco lost the last of their major court battles... the gov found that the typical cigarette had 158 ingredients (designed to addict customers) added to their tabacco products, most of which were carcinogens. The tobacco companies had massive labs where they tested and perfected addicting people to tobacco.

When those companies could no longer manufacture cigarettes, they looked for alternative businesses. They targeted US food production. They starting buying up and consolidating the US food supply chain, and they turned those same laboratories loose on the US food supply. They added the same 158 known ingredients into the food supply, physically addicting people to their products.

Everything changes, but nothing does.

They have consolidated farming, and food production. They have captured the USDA, FDA, Big Pharma, the CDC. All work hand in a hand to maximize profit.

Here's a short list of countries that refuse to import US foods (incomplete but gets the point across. I spent 5 minutes pulling this list together)

Beef (Hormones, BSE, Feed Additives)

European Union
  • Ban on hormone-treated beeffrom the U.S. since 1989.
    • Restrictions tied to concerns over growth hormones and past BSE (“mad cow”) cases.
    • The dispute has become a long-running trade case.
China
  • Previously banned U.S. beef after BSE cases (2003–2017).
    • Currently allows imports but with strict traceability and hormone-related rules.
Russia
  • Has imposed bans on U.S. beef citing ractopamine (a feed additive) and sanitary concerns.
Pork (Ractopamine Concerns)
Ractopamine is approved in the U.S. but banned in many countries.
Countries that have restricted or banned U.S. pork over ractopamine include:
  • China
  • Russia
  • Taiwan (historically restricted; rules have changed but remain sensitive)
Poultry (Pathogens & Processing Standards)

European Union
  • Restricts U.S. poultry washed with antimicrobial rinses (e.g., chlorine treatment).
    • Different food safety philosophy (“farm-to-fork” vs. end-product treatment).
China
  • Periodically suspended U.S. poultry during avian influenza outbreaks.
GM Crops (Genetically Modified Organisms)
Some countries restrict imports of U.S. corn or soybeans unless specifically approved:
  • European Union — strict GMO authorization system
  • Mexico — restrictions on GMO corn for human consumption
  • China — requires trait-by-trait approval
Produce (Pest & Disease Concerns)
Countries sometimes block specific fruits or vegetables due to pest risk or pesticide residues. These are usually temporary and science-based under WTO rules.
  • Japan suspending U.S. potatoes at times due to pest detections
  • China suspending certain U.S. fruits during phytosanitary disputes
To get around these issues, US designs and manufactures food products that meet the higher safety standards that other countries demand, while still poisoning the US population.

This is where we buy all our grains for fresh grinding flour to make our own bread and waffles. Amish run and they supply high end bakeries. I order on line and it's abut an hour ride for us to drive down and usually pick up a couple hundred pounds of beans and grains. https://www.senecagrainandbean.com
I think they also ship.

I'm guessing shipping would be expensive to you but the fingerlakes is a great area to visit in the summer. I'm guessing you have an Amish population in your area that may know a similar operation by you. Nothing like crushing and grinding some different grains and making fresh 7 grain bread. Our Zojirushi is so easy to use and every loaf comes out perfectly without any work. Best house deodorant without chemicals.

Our soil is very poor, good for tobacco, but not much else. Lots of red clay. I know a few Mennonites, but no Amish in our local area. We have family up north of Syracuse and travel annually in the fall... Might make the stop then. We own a Breville Breadmaker. Works well.

I like the Scorpions post comparing the strawberry oatmeal ingredients, US vs UK markets. The US version contains zero ingredients from strawberries, some artificial strawberry flavoring and the only fruit is apple pieces. Both versions contain sugar, at least it doeasn't appear to be high fructose corn syrup which numerous studies have shown when ingested in large quantities causes health issues such as insulin resistance , fatty liver disease, etc. Most soft drinks use fructose. And I am amused nowadays the products that tout they use "real fruit" or "real chocolate" . My wife worked for 25 yrs as a CDI (certified diabetes educator) and somewhere in her last ten years she said they had to order new weight scales that went to 400 lbs to accomodate the increase in morbidly obese clients. And the recent increase in colorectal cancer at earlier ages is directly attributed to diet - the consumption of so called "ultra processed foods" which comprise nearly 60% of the typical american diet, some demographic groups over 70% and yes those groups have shown correspondingly high colorectal cancer rates. Time for a midday poutine snack, washed down with a 32oz slug of mountain dew.
