My first thought when I saw that image was that it was a re-imagining of the Aston Martin Vantage/Vanquish (probably because the T-Bird logo vaguely resembles the AM logo) blended with an early-2000's Dodge Charger.I saw this the other day so maybe it is true but I doubt it:

How dare you.
agreed! If the tbird comes back it needs some style. slap a t bird body on the eco boost mustang, even that would be cool. They still make the Mustang and need to find something on that chassis to increase roduction / demand for Car Parts common across multiple platforms. I always thought Killing the Fusion was a bad idea (Lets Kill off our most successful Hybrid vehicle and then in three years announce a new dependency on electric vehicles). Should have kept it and made the Mach-E a Fusion Product not a Mustang. No reason their electric / hybrid models couldn't have been under the Mercury brand (closest to the sun) or a Fusion Brand. Same with the T-Bird. It needs to be a boulevard cruising convertible - perfect for a hybrid / electric car with some soul. Not some turd shaped Prius.
the relaunch secked because the car had no soul. They need to bring back something along the lines of the late 50s early 60s Style. I still covet a 1957 T-Bird. I would give my left testicle for oneWhy not. The last relaunch of the tbird was a resounding success.
