Ford Brake Controller New Install

I just got finished installing the Ford TBC....The one that connects to the rear MFin brake lite. Is there a quick check I can do to make sure it works and will work with trailer? I dont have the trailer yet but after spending all this time with these plastic MFin panels and MFin fasteners, I'd like to verify my installation before my knuckles heal. Thanks.

My install wasn't bad at all, just hot outside. ?

Truck running, foot on brake, press the button/dial in - does it "breathe" blue?

If yes, you're good. Adjust once you have the trailer.

Thanks...now why can't those retarded instructions just say that? I'll try it tomorrow, I'm beat.

The Redarc instructions also make mention of testing it with a light bulb. I have a 7 pin tester that I wired a turn signal bulb into in order to put a load on the brake circuit to test it. If you want to go that far, there are instructions in their manual for what activity you should see on the light and when. Easiest done with 2 people though.
