Has anyone put mats on vinyl flooring. I’m thinking about putting carpet mats on my STX vinyl flooring but don’t know how to make it work.
And on a different note. Has anyone tried adhering a vinyl square on the floor to prevent heel wearing through?

Wouldn’t rubber mats work better in that situation? Thinking they grip the floor better.
Yeah, if that works i'm in on that too. How do I make them stay in place?

There are a number of different aftermarket floor liners that you can consider.

3W Floor Liners (one of the forum sponsors) has a set and the price is better than Ford or other manufacturers. You can buy from them directly or through Amazon. I’ve seen their set and they are really nice. A few forum members here have them also.

Tagging @3Wliners in case they’re able to help even more with pricing or shipping. You never know.

@Rinn69 , who installed the retainers on his F150, is also a member on this forum and might be able to comment on installing the retainers on your Ranger.

@3Wliners do both driver and passenger side have hold down snaps and do they come with the hold down buttons to install?

The set that was delivered to me for another member, had two snap-in holes on the driver’s side and one on the passenger’s side (that seemed odd to me - I have two on each side). It did not include the anchor posts you could mount to the floor.

They are designed to use the existing anchor posts in the truck (if installed).

Yeah, I saw the husky liner ones have the one on the passenger side too. I guess you could install the snap knobs for that if you wanted extra hold on that side.

Aren't those only going to work if you have the carpeted floor?
I see where you're going with this and I agree better for carpeted floors. I'm (and others) are looking for ways to lessen the buildup of dirt, salt and debris on the floor. Basically a better way to trap debris and quickly remove the mat and get it out of the truck. I get concerned when i see the salt build up each winter around the edges of the door and my vinyl floor.
