First trip with a trailer

Did you weigh the tongue weight? I think we need at least 350 pounds for a good ride while towing. That might be more than the recommended 10-12 percent depending on trailer weight.

I did not weigh the tongue, but I assume that I'm above 350#. The trailer should trim out to around 4200# as I have it loaded, and the WD bars are on very lightly. I'll have to take my next trip without the bars and see if it helps the bouncy feeling.

That said, it could definitely be the tires as they are AT's which need to flex a fair amount, and not LT's that are setup for towing.

I did run the tires a bit harder than the door sticker says, so that may have helped or hurt the ride, I don't know.
