Got back from Flagstaff yesterday after spending time in the woods with about 1
ranger in snow jan 2021.jpg
4 inches of snow . This truck seems like it will go anywhere you point it. (up until you are stuck) which I am pleased to say I did not do. Just for grins I put it in 2 wheel drive and engaged the 1 mph crawl through deep snow and it did indeed become hung up in the snow. What I found unusual was that it attempted to bury the rear wheels and spun the wheels pretty fast while stuck. Also in the heat of the moment I could not rememeber how to disingage the crawl feature. Thought stepping on the brakes would do but it did not, it temporarly slowed the spin but continued spinning, and would have left you stuck badly in a 2 wheel drive. I believe you are supposed to press OFF the lower right switch...

I got to use mine in snow today also! It performed beautifully and I live in a pretty hilly area. My only gripe is that the collision warning on the front kept going off due to ice build up. I thought i turned it off but still kept warning me

I tried 4x4 and then TM snow mode today here in NJ. Snow mode seemed to work better then 4x4.

Is there a difference?

In my experience, 1 mph is too slow to try and move through that amount of snow in 2WD. Especially with an unladen bed and essentially no weight on the drive wheels. Gotta keep up that momentum. haha

this was only a test.
