First Encounter in the "Wild" (Ranger's Spotted Megathread)

I got to say "Hi" to the "Walmart Ranger" owner last week. I see it parked in the same spot every week when the wife and I go shopping.

He was walking to his truck after getting off work or maybe going on break. I gave him the thumbs up and the wife told him how I point at it every week and say "Look, Ford Ranger."

I think my wife and daughter are getting tired of me saying "Hey, it's a Ranger" every time I see another one

Actually, my daughter is 26 and talks like a sailor...she'd probably laugh her ass off. My wife would just roll her eyes.

Spotted this Cyber Orange Ranger the other night while we were walking into Westgate. This is the first time seeing one in person and while it does look way better in person it's to yellow looking for my taste. The paint does have a nice metallic finish.

For the last 2 years I was the ONLY Ranger in my development (of about 500 vehicles!).The street and garages are full of Tundras, Sierras, Tacoma’s, Colorados, Silverados..until a couple weeks ago a neighbor bought this one??

We drive down to Ridgecrest once a month. It's about a 2 hour drive, and we have recently noticed a lot more Rangers moving along the 395. This time last year, we might see one or two along the way, but now it's easily 10 or more in both directions.

Rangers are now everywhere around my area. I still get excited every time I see one. My husband and grandson just groan and roll their eyes when I point them out.?‍

They're still seem to be kinda lean around where I am.

I couldn't make a picture because I was driving, but I saw a car carrier rig transporting white fleet Rangers-supercabs and supercrews-on I-285 West today. It was a lovely sight.



And I saw this one in Monroe, GA this evening. Nice color.

I must be in a Ranger desert. I just took delivery of my Ford Ranger on July 6th and usually when you get a new vehicle you start seeing them everywhere. Not here. Lots of F-150s and RAM 1500s (most prevalent truck around here for some reason). Absolutely no Rangers except for the old decrepit second generation rust bucket I did see once since I got my truck.
