So I hate ATT and it gives terrible coverage in my area. Big Red (vzw) is a much better solution for me.

does anyone know where I can find the wireless router so I can look at either swapping the SIM or swapping the router? Is it even possible to jump?

Think its in the APIM itself. When I swapped my non-nav APIM for an older APIM with Nav, I lost the modem and Ford Pass.

Just curious what part of the state you are in. I've lived in areas of NC where Verizon is better and others where AT&T is better. I understand how you feel and in case I ever move close to your area it would be nice to know in advance about coverage. Planning a move later this year.

im in fuquay varina. both are pretty good, but att has more spots. I also get a really amazing discount with verizon, so i'd rather add that line than a new bill LOL

Thanks, appreciate it. I've lived in the Raleigh / Durham area before. On the coast now but planning a move to the mountains.

I'd love to be in the mountains but my job in western NC fell apart before all the covid junk. Probably for the best, may have ended up unemployed as the 'last guy in'

I think you're just out of luck. I expect that not many of these in-truck APs will ever be used but that's pretty typical for car manufacturers. (God forbid they offer enough flexibility for the electronics to be useful.)

Ugh, sorry to hear that. Maybe after all this is over you can still make it out there. Better timing in the future, hopefully.

flexibility is overrated ~car manufacturers.
but hey, att paid a lot for those to get put in. The software bloatware from PCs has come over to cars and trucks. WHOO!
