Too many trails, not enough time?

I'd love to explore Ocotillo Wells SVRA (Anza Borrego SP) sometime, as well as the Mojave Road (East to West)... what else am I missing down south?

To keep the interest/fun going, we should organize an annual Ranger/Bronco West-Coast offroading/overlanding event/trip, culminating in a weeklong romp in Moab one (or every) year ;-)

That's funny I just watched a video on Youtube last night about the Mojave trail, Looks like fun!!

Ocotillo is a really cool place, Been there on my dirt bike a handful of times.

I'd be up for a long weekend trip!

That does look good! Anything that far away would need to be a weekend trip at least, after the distance of this trip, overnight is really the only way it makes sense with the drive times. It looks like there could be a lot of good trips coming up!

If you plan this during the spring, this Florida boy would love to join you guys - especially on the Mojave Road!!

We've gotten a few down here as well tonight. Looks like we should expect up to ~0.5" or so, so we should be pretty dust free tomorrow!

All the LA/South peeps - I'm going to plan on being at the Pilot Truck stop in Castaic at about 8am tomorrow (31642 Castaic Rd, Castaic, CA 91384) if you want to meet up and convoy the rest of the way. It's just more convenient that the Walmart and we're getting snacks/food tonight, just need ice in the morning.

The hotel attendant really liked my truck! He's a 4G-Ranger owner.
