I am bringing my CB. Also have GMRS radios. What are people running?
I haven't run CB in a long time. I've been running 70cm, 1.25m, and 2m as a HAM, and the radio I have *can* do GMRS/FRS, but technically it's not allowed. So I'm going to have to pick up a pair of GMRS radios before this trip.

I have all three (GMRS/CB/Ham), and will bring them all just for the heck of it.

I started with one affordable Midland CB, and stuck with it since it worked so well, alongside a Wilson "Little Wil" rooftop antenna; links to both below (may be cheaper to source these on Amazon).

In the long run, if you plan on running CB frequently, a 48" Firestik antenna is the way to go.

I am running a mag mount this trip. I would like to figure out how to mount an an antenna, without drilling.

Looks like it'll be a nice turnout. My buddy Kris has a Colorado and lives down south, I'll definitely have to make it down for a future meetup and bring him along

Well somebody had to check the "will not let me" box...lol:giggle:

Daughter has a softball game right in the middle of the day, so probably not going to make this.

Just ordered my Ford Performance leveling kit; hopefully I'll finish the install before the trip.

Is anyone staying for a second day of wheeling? My plan is to do Saturday and part of Sunday, before heading back home to Norcal.
