I believe the eye catchers are raised embossed lettering. If I would go for those, I'd go with a matte black but I prefer the TVD lettering I have.

These are 3 dimensional inlays, not flat sheet vinyl like TVD inlays. I had a set of Carbon Fiber look inlays on my Tacoma and they looked great! If they come out with those for the Ranger I'll be buying!

With all the Sport trimmed Rangers I think a Magnetic Gray color is warranted. I'm not sure I'll get any of those colors. Sure would like to see some photos of the colors side by side.

I ordered the matte/satin black. Will post those once installed. You might check pics of the tacomas to see color examples.

eyecatcher makes nice looking inlays for the Tacoma tailgate lettering I’ve seen on Amazon. I contacted them to see if they were making them for the Ranger. Just an FYI if you are considering that mod. Search Amazon and you will see a bunch of examples.

I am trying to choose between the 2 suppliers. Are both of these applications easy to remove if/when I want to change? Does it cause any issues with the paint etc?

They should both remove easily with a heat gun or hair dryer and some dental floss. shouldnt cause any paint issues.

I ordered the EyeCatchers. Over the course of yesterday more colors started showing up as a choice. If you look under the price tag on Amazon you should see 4 boxes to click where you choose your color. If you don't see the boxes give it another day, I think they are showing up as they stock them in the regional warehouses. They showed up for me one at a time over 24hrs

Same here. I ordered the matte black from TVD for both the tailgate and chrome grill surround. I've installed the tailgate lettering but haven't decided on whether to do the grill. The matte black really looks great on the HPR.

Here are pics of the eyecatcher inlays in Matte Black on a silver truck. Install was quite fast. I preferred cutting them down to single letters and installing one at a time vs in tandem. You peel off the white backing then use the front clear plastic to align them and press.

Posted in another thread but since this is specific to the eyecatchers, I got the matte black ones and the plasti dip’d them orange. Very easy to put on and get lined up.
