Extended Range Fuel Tank for (diesel) Gen 6

I know this has been a topic of discussion on the Bronco boards for years, but wanted to pass along that Ford has an extended range (36 gallon) fuel tank as an option in the Gen 6 Accessory Catalog. It specifies that it’s for the diesel versions, but gives me a little hope that they’re considering something for the gasoline variants as well…

I'd love to see this on the 5th gen Ranger. The LRA tank is coming, or so I've been told, but it hangs below the frame so far. I want 5 more gallons and no under hang below the frame.

There's a company forgot its name does Long Range tanks for the F series gas and diesel. Direct OEM replacements that mount in place. I'm surprised they haven't done a 25 gallon tank for the Ranger which would easily fit in place of the 18 gallon tank we have.

Someone needs to just weld up a sheet metal one. But its hard on late models.

I would like this. Easily get me over 1000 mile range. Also I keep my tank full so in the event of some disaster I would be good for a LONG time.

I agree completely… was pleased they offered it as an available alternative… gives me hope!
