Glad you’re safe. I think I would be packing up and going home.Hi Folks,
We had a turn of luck of sorts. Winds shifted the fire East and we got the word over the emergency system on our phones that we were back to Set from the Ready, Set and Go, So we returned to the RV, keeping the Ranger fully loaded with key stuff. It was a sleepless night but conditions today continue to keep us in Set with added reinforcements of more air tankers and ground crews. It will be a tense day with winds gusting to 50mph. This somewhat resprite allowed us to rethink other things to load into the Ranger, like the forgotten check book for example...
At lease the coffee this Monday AM is refreshing... we will sit tight with all the other RVers today and pray for the fire crews...These tanker plane pilots are flying into harms way...and hot shot ground crews...all hero's in our minds.
Red Cross has opened up a shelter in a Jr, High School, so we do have some place to go other than the CVS Drug parking lot if we need to Go due to wind shift.... Tense time but no structures or people harmed at this time....
Best,
Phil

That reminded me of this oneGlad everyone's safe and hopefully there's no high winds or flare ups. That was one thing that worried me about moving to AZ was the lack of rain, how dry everything is and wildfires. But I guess it beats snow, tornados and hurricanes. Good luck and hopefully tonight you all can get some rest.
BTW I heard they spotted Tito walking down Rt 66 this morning back the Green Valley.

Hi NB,![]()
There was some confusion on that pic I believe, That's not Phil's truck , Tito called in a "favor " , it seems Phil wasn't moving fast enough, ITHO ... (In Titos humble opinion)
