I haven’t done the drawing because I didn’t hear back from a couple people. I plan on doing it Sunday regardless if i have heard back or not. I’ll post the winner on our Facebook page. I also plan on doing another drawing in the next week or 2 for a downpipe for you guys as well

I'm personally not going to install spacers so if my name were drawn, I'd ask you go on to the next person.

A downpipe on the other hand sounds interesting. I know there are others but thought the bolt pattern changed the last year or so that might be a tricky design.

I would think a single catalytic converter from a dual converter system from a 4.7 or 4.9L V8 with 3 inch outlet wouldn't upset the ECM but offer better flow. There must be info regarding CFM's and the factory computer.

I had an email exchange with Jimmy last night, it sounds like he is checking in with people regarding his drawing(s) and while I'm most concerned with resolving the intercooler fitment here's a portion of the email:

I had the cnc shop redo a piece that I didn’t like the fitment on and I spoke to them this morning and that sample is shipping out and i should have it next week. Hopefully this will be the perfect fit and we can get this going. If not, I’ll just refund everyone and start over from scratch.
His communication was a week before my next attempt to find out where we were all at, so coincidence?

A previous email had him occupied with moving to a new shop so that seemed a valid distraction.

For the value (so far) of upgrading from the factory intercooler it's not been too bad as the delay hasn't damaged my truck or interfered with any other mods - just tied up my money.

Read into his comments above what you will?

I check the ESP website to make sure Jimmy's still in business.

Noticed he features Snow water/meth systems although I wonder how that actually integrates with Ecoboost tuning - especially with an EGR sensor that doesn't like moisture in there.

No sign of the intercooler pipes he showed us that he was developing so I wonder if it's tougher than he anticipated? I think he should have cut his teeth on just resolving the cold side pipe since it's not that convoluted for the Ranger. His last post seemed to imply some frustration.

I did notice the defouler extension for downpipes back in stock. I know that's tough and go for custom shops with the whole EPA dance.

No holiday price promotions.

I presume everyone has Jimmy's email address for their individual concerns?

I emailed him a couple days ago and he responded that one of us fifteen(?) has a set of ESP's intercooler pipes to make sure they are right. If you have contacted him before about the non -fitting intercooler outlet you got I'd guess you'll get an email as soon as he can verify the replacement pipe's fit. After nearly half a year I'd like to wind this up.

Those mandrel bends look better than the prototypes Jimmy posted for the other vehicle.

I'd like to see the components separated to judge better.

I wonder if you'd want to glam up those clamps, and if some more for the hose-to-metal junctions would be a good (?) idea?

It might sway my opinion on this whole thing.
