Full syn for me for the past 30 yrs. Nothing else. My last two vehicles retired at 21+ yrs with snaggle tooth bodies and solid engines.
I change my Ranger oil when the alert yaps at me, along with tire rotation. I jot the interval mileage in my maintenance log. Average is 6K miles. Mostly light duty with 4K# trailer tow twice/year.
