I do not believe the full synth meets WSP-M2C197-A spec. What does the bottle say. I think Valvoline conventional HP gear lube does.

Gear oils with LSD additives won't really harm an open or locker diff since the additive is there only to assist the clutch packs with engaging. I have not been able to find any concrete evidence that running synthetic gear oils will cause any detrimental issues provided the correct weight and volume is used as well as being changed at the regular intervals.
