Electronic locking rear diff

To anyone w/the electronic locking rear diff...is there an indicator light on the dash when you press the button?

Do you have the diff lock button down by the terrain management switch?

It won't come on if you are going over I think ~25 mph, if it's on it will kick off at that speed (light goes off too) and kicks back on when you go below that speed again. And I don't remember for sure but I think it's just a little emblem on the little screen on my xlt.

Plus you have to hold the button for 2 seconds for it to come on.

I didn't know about the 2 seconds....I was stationary in my driveway. My old F250 was a quick press and it was on.

Good news....need a 2 second press for on and a 2 second press for off. Also, the Tremor instrument cluster kinda buries the indicator light to the bottom left. I wish the right side could be changed from what's playing on the radio to actual guages.

It also sometimes doesnt engage right away, you may have to drive slowly for it to engage.
