I also have a set of the Eibach Pro-Truck Sport shocks on order, and from what I understand, you should also buy a set of the nylock nuts that you will be removing. The upper ball joint, tie rod and sway bar nuts. I am assuming that Eibach will be providing new upper shock mount nuts for each side. I am in agreement that the axle nuts should be removed and the shaft tapped back out of the hub. I cut a 1” diameter length of brass rod to tap it with.

The Eibach struts do not come with new nuts for the top. I reused mine as well as the sway bar link nuts and axle nuts. I picked up new outer tie rod end and upper ball joint nuts from Ford. I used a large puller to pop the CV shaft out of the bearing and it worked great!

I've got the Eibach Pro Truck Lift Stage 1 in-bound, and I'm going to install them with the help of a good friend.

I've read about issues people have with the level spacers on the front of these trucks and problems with popping out the front shafts, tearing CV boots, etc.. Because of the geometry of the suspension parts, will these still be potential issues when installing the Eibach struts and springs on the front? Should we go ahead and pop the nut off the front shafts before trying to "force" the new stuff onto the truck?

Basically, I'm looking for any insight from anybody who's done the Eibach install to just better get a handle on what to expect! Thanks guys!

This vid he shows how to get the struts out w/o any issues with the CV shafts with a 3" leveling kit installed. I skipped to the point of removal process and the actual strut removal is at the 6:30 ish mark.

His does not appear to be an FX4. I believe the stock coilovers on the FX4 package are a bit taller, which is what causes all the problems for people.

True, however he has a 3" leveling kit installed on the truck and pulls the strut out with it bolted on. I highly doubt the FX suspension is 3" taller than the non-FX setup, so removing the stock FX struts and installing the Eibach kit even if set to 3" lift should not be much of an issue.
