Ordering a 5 Star Tuning setup and they can ship it preprogrammed if I can get the ECU Strategy Code with forscan but I don't see anything labeled ECU.

Any help?
Thanks

I believe that you will be looking in the PCM module (Powertrain Control Module), as that is what Ford calls it.

I am not seeing anywhere to find the code. He wants the hex code ideally but I just don't see when clicking into the module how to get it

I have no knowledge of which code he is looking for. Can you ask him for more information? Forscan can provide a hex code if you know what you are looking for.

I have a feeling he wants the transmission solenoid code, you will find it on a label on the transmission.

Well I gave up and just ordered it. The BDX programmer will pull the code and I'll send it to them. Once I see the code I can reference what I can actually see in Forscan as well as the As Built data and see if it's something that's even accessible. Some older posts suggest forscan doesn't even let you view PCM data

You can view PCM Data, it's just you cannot do any programming unless you have the J2534 adapter (pass-through) device.

As far as the code: I think they are looking for this:
(Example)

It should be on the RH side of the transmission
The LH side has PN - Placard

I cannot locate which PCM hex line shows this - specific info, any valve body replacement on the transmission this placard is replaced with the NEW strategy code.

Found it:
It's not in the PCM module itself

When you log into your profile, and you see the modules loading - Forscan and you see all the modules - loaded successfully

Top-Left - Tab (Car Icon !)

The info you seek is there

Just heard back, I will be getting the programmer with the tunes installed instead of having to wait. Thanks so much
