Going crawling different places like uwharrie, mountains, beach runs etc. right now it’s Jeeps and rangers. not a show truck group. I know if we had a pavement princess group we would have a whole bunch of members. Lol.

I'm in Eastern NC, and while my truck is 4x4 model I got it more for towing than playing. I'm into trails on my mtb though. Once I get the mud flaps I'm not against mild (unpaved road) driving, maybe a beach run, with a long carwash after.

I guess I need to see about a mild off road ride at some point, my son seems interested in that. My daughter likes working on cars and racing, my son may like off-road more, which will lead to him working on them too.

Idk a thing about rock crawling, but beginner trails would be cool.. where are they towards central Piedmont area??

I would consider poorly maintained forestry roads as mild off-road. There are lots of them around here in the Nuese Forest.
