Have 4 ebikes from RAD and never had a problem... Love 'em!

Same here, have 2 RAD Power Bikes since 2019, keep then in a metal shed and don't charge on the bike. These fires are in apartments in NY for the most part. The safety instructions say not to charge on the bike, to monitor the charging at all times, not plug in the bike indoors and go to bed. I charge mine on a SS cookie sheet and and have the chargers on a timer to shut off after 5 hours. Never had a problem and still on the original battery. People have no common sense these days. We love our e-bikes and can ride 50 miles on a charge if needed.

Charge the battery outside...in the bed of your Lightning !!! If it can power a home, it can charge that battery.
Or, charge it from your Ram EV, when it runs down, charge the truck with the on-board gas genny, so you cam keep charging the e-bike battery.
Do it all outside so no danger to the house !!!
All very simple if you use the old head noodle !!!

I guess if you cook outside with your gas stove you will also be safe ?. We pay big bucks for insurance now and I bet insurance companies are going to use EVs and toy dangers to push the rates up for everyone again.
