Not my Ranger but my mom’s Sonata. The visor slowly droops down. Before I start taking things apart, does anyone know a good hack for solving this issue.

Not wanting to Velcro it to the headliner. Looking for something that involves the mechanism where to rod goes into the headliner.

If anyone’s easily solved this issue on another vehicle, I’m all ears.

 Dissolve one in a spray bottle and mist lightly.

Toothpick or bit of tape to make it a bit tighter?
Good idea Steve. Yeah, the failure seems to be in that horizontal “sleeve” where the rod that the visor rotates on, is inserted. I noticed the plastic coating on the rod is cracked and broken there and some is missing - likely the culprit.

If I could pull the visor off that rod, it could likely easily be built up so it works. It just doesn’t want to come off.

A toothpick is a good idea. Maybe a short piece of a bicycle spoke or a zip tie.
