I had done the magic eraser a few times, then I went to Acetone to strip off the oxidized top layer, then I bought these:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/126099162270
$117.89 with the discount code, they are made in and ship from Thailand, I figured if they were bogus I could get my money back through ebay.
They are original Ford, they matched perfectly, even have the same QC green dot and they also have the same engineering number. (which you can't really see) I was about to buy from Ford here but they were over $200 I had two complete sets replaced under warranty and they both striped up and looked ugly in just under couple years, but I live in the desert and the truck has to live in the driveway.
So if anybody has cooked belt moldings like I had, these are a decent option, BUT, they will probably stripe up like all the others
They are super easy to change, now I just have to do the vinyl transfer on the pillars and the truck would look new again.
Anyways, just thought I would pass it along.
