Super Crew: Rear Middle Seat-Belt - Delete?

Has anyone deleted the rear middle seat-belt? Is it even legal?
I'm pretty sure I'll never use it and I'd like to ditch it for just a scoche more storage behind the seat. and remove the headrest. Do I need to do something with the seatbelt sensor? Are there plugs / caps for the holes in the top of the seat where the rest went?

Did you end up going through with this? I also doubt how much I'll use it (I'm even toying with taking the seats out in general), and I absolutely hate how it flaps in the wind with the windows open... Taking the center seatbelt out might be a good compromise...

Started looking at it again this weekend. Was getting something out of there and that seatbelt was in my way again.
