MSRP 35K, Tax title and (BS)addons made it $38500...x-plan and discounts (June incentives + Veterans discount)...paid $33500 cash out the door....

$750 here...dealer matched it....$1500 total

Yes! This does ease the pain of waiting for pre-ordered builds, since dealers usually agree at signing to give us the best deal available at the time of delivery, which means in my case, the best deal available by mid-August!

I got lucky as they had a 10 day delivery sale of - $ 2500 and I got the truck on the last day . when I did the deal they gave me $1650 off of msrp

so very happy with the truck and the cost

I made a point of insisting on this when I signed, and the sales person did not give me any trouble about it. It seemed to me that this was the dealer's policy, but it would make sense that Ford would apply this more generally. Otherwise, it creates a disincentive for customers to sign early. If we keep waiting for better terms, some us might end up at a Chevy dealer's....

yes. you don't actually buy the vehicle until it shows up, and you're free to walk away. (so not offering you the current incentives on an order when it shows up means that you could simply say "no thanks" and buy a different one with those incentives.)

All those discounts and you still payed 3 times what it was worth. Over 5 thou of the cost of a new vehicle went into the union retire/health package.
