Dinged doors vs. Bird poop vs. Sun Damage? Which one would you pick?

Bird shit gets my vote. Doesnt phase my ceramic coat.

The sun. Having a car that sat out in the Cali sun near Fresno where it could get to the 100-teens, a good wash for the dust that would settle on it, and a decent coat of wax/ceramic. Always always have a window shade to protect the dash and have ceramic window tint. The outside color will fade, but long as you protect the clear it won't peel. Worst thing is protecting the interior plastics.

If you had to choose one thing to damage your Ranger's paint, which would you choose?

Bird Dropings - but ensuring protection from the Sun's UV rays.

The Sun - Bird dropings are acidic and cause more damage

Door dings, at least the damage will be limited to one specific area of the truck
